According to a statement from Postmates SVP of Operations Russell Cook, the delivery startup has “redefined the roles of our local teams and operations” and will “phase out our community manager position.” That will entail layoffs, which BuzzFeed reported comes to about 30 people. A source close to the company told Forbes that the total number of employees laid off is less than 30, but did not dispute that the community manager position has been eliminated.
