The new service, dubbed Trips, enables hosts to offer experiences—ranging from Korean embroidery and juicing lessons to truffle hunting and off-road desert biking—for around $200, said Chief Executive Brian Chesky at an event here Thursday. The company is starting the service in 12 cities world-wide, including Detroit and Los Angeles in the U.S. and Havana, Nairobi and Tokyo overseas, and plans to establish it in 50 cities next year.
