Another day, another $20 million ruling against Uber for its poorly managed data practices. A hard turn to responsible management is much needed.

Uber Technologies is expected to pay $20 million to settle a class-action lawsuit alleging the rideshare company violated federal law by sending out unsolicited text messages.
