Lyft and Amazon announced Tuesday that you can ask the voice-controlled smart home device to call your Lyft, Lyft Line, or a larger Plus vehicle. Lyft is following Uber’s lead, which integrated with Amazon Echo earlier this year but doesn’t currently allow users to call shared UberPool rides via Alexa. The two largest ride-hail companies in the U.S. are in a fierce competition to retain drivers and riders, so they often match each other’s offerings.

Rival ride services Uber and Lyft have settled high stakes litigation involving two of their top executives, court filings show, in advance of a trial that could have aired sensitive details about both companies.
Lyft and its former chief operating officer Travis VanderZanden ended litigation in a California state court in which Lyft accused VanderZanden of breaking his confidentiality pledges when he went to work for Uber.

Although there is much analysis to support Millennials’ sense of brand skepticism, a new study says these key young consumers can be more favorable under certain conditions.A comScore/YouTube study says “Millennials exhibit a more favorable response to brands that earn their loyalty and are relevant.
”In this light, the comScore/YouTube research shows that 62% of those 18-34 “take action after viewing an ad” and 47% say they pay more attention when viewing personalized ads.”

BMW’s car-sharing service is expanding into the Seattle areas it promised to reach when the service launched two months ago.
ReachNow said Tuesday it is now live in West Seattle, Magnolia and parts of Southeast Seattle. The company has also added 150 Mini Clubmans to its fleet, now 520 cars strong.
